Charlotte Street Partners is delighted to invite you to a discussion in conversation with Mark Read, chief executive of WPP
Tuesday 2 February 2021
15:00 - 16:00
How organisations communicate is – funnily enough – a subject close to our hearts. It’s what we’re all about, and what occupies a significant share of the attention of broadcasters, policymakers, artists, philanthropists, PR and media experts, consumers and citizens alike.
With rapid shifts in consumer behaviour and, despite the change at the White House, continued geopolitical tension, this issue has never been more challenging or more interesting.
To explore this, we are delighted to invite you to a discussion in conversation with Mark Read, chief executive of WPP, the world’s largest communications and marketing company with multinational agencies across corporate communications, public relations, technology, advertising and e-commerce.
Mark was appointed CEO of WPP in September 2018 and has held multiple leadership positions, having first joined the Company in 1989. As Head of Strategy and then CEO of WPP Digital, Mark was responsible for WPP’s first moves into technology.
Today, the agencies that make up WPP operate in 112 countries, working with clients including 348 of the Fortune Global 500, all 30 of the Dow Jones 30, 70 of the NASDAQ 100 and 69 of the FTSE 100.
The discussion will take place via Zoom next Tuesday, 2 February at 3pm under the Chatham House Rule. We ask that you RSVP via this registration link. Speaking with Mark will be Katie Stanton, associate partner, who will pose some short introductory questions before chairing the audience Q&A. We expect to have finished proceedings by 4pm.
