Since my first real job in the mid 2000s, the political landscape across the UK, and especially Scotland, has altered completely. Having worked through much of this change, and observed other parts of it when employed in the Middle East for one of the world’s largest communications consultancies, my job now is to advise clients on the political climate – both as it is now and as it may be soon – whilst working to ensure their strategies achieve maximum impact.
One of my core roles is to provide our clients with political, policy and regulatory counsel, across a range of disciplines and sectors. I believe my near two decades experience in communications and media relations, across multiple markets, is a key factor in helping clients realise their short and long-term objectives.
When I’m not helping clients you may find me immersed in history, running, trying to play football (30 years in and I’m convinced I’ll crack it some day) or planning my next trip to see close family in sunnier climes.
