A key aspect of my job involves supporting the wider team in conducting thorough research and monitoring for clients across Scotland’s business and civic landscape. No two days are the same working for a wide range of clients that are driving some of the country’s most impactful industries.
I enjoy gaining insight into a variety of sectors, and such diversity has helped me develop a broad knowledge base, allowing me to better serve the organisations we collaborate with daily.
I joined Charlotte Street Partners in the summer of 2024 as an intern after completing my undergraduate degree in English and International Relations at the University of St Andrews. My final year thesis explored the dynamic interplay between British media discourses in coverage of acts of terror and the linguistic and ideological formations of UK counterterrorism policy. This research, driven by curiosity and my passion for media and governmental relations, informs my work at Charlotte Street Partners.
I now bring my knowledge from my internship here and from an additional communications agency into my role as an associate. Such experiences have best placed me with a strong foundation in communication strategies, media relations, policy processes, and navigating our ever-evolving political landscape. It is an honour to contribute to the positive change made by the clients we collaborate with and to help them best navigate their greatest obstacles.
Outside of work, I enjoy pilates, going for brunch, spending time with friends, and making the most of exploring all that Edinburgh has to offer – a beautiful city I now get to call home.
