A client once described Sabina as a rare breed, combining methodical process with exceptional creative thinking. We agree wholeheartedly with that assessment!
Sabina joined us from housing and homelessness charity Shelter Scotland in 2017 and has made an impact advising a wide range of clients on issues including external relations, employee and crisis communications, and sustainability.
Sabina’s real expertise is in media relations and the third sector, which sees her putting her journalism experience to good use, as well as her passion for equality and social justice. She feels equally at home delivering corporate communications counsel to our clients including Diageo, Edinburgh Airport, Wireless Infrastructure Group and Bacardi, and was named by PR Week as one of the future leaders of the industry. Most recently, her work has included providing crisis and contingency planning support to our clients during the coronavirus pandemic, advising on, among other issues, strategy development and implementation, employee engagement, and wellbeing.
Sabina is on the board of trustees for Fresh Start, a charity that helps people with experience of homelessness resettle into permanent accommodation. She also provides strategic communications counsel to children and young people’s charities, including Unicef UK, the Children’s Parliament and the Scottish Youth Parliament.
Sabina was born and raised in Bosnia and has put her language skills to good use by translating children’s books from Bosnian to English, most notably a book for war children with experience of complex trauma.
